Nobility has always enjoyed certain privileges and used it to exploit structures, no more than in a military body.

Experience Points Costs

Level: Rank: Costs*:

*The Experience Points cost for nobles with military rank can be exchanged by up to three quarters of the cost with money (with Gold Crowns), to reflect nobility having an inherent knack for buying their way into military service, rather than earning it.

Level One: 2nd Lieutenant: They command a ‘Unit’ of 5 men, assisted by a Lance Corporal.
- Military Discount: 25% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 200 Silver Crests per annum, payment should be issued by the commanding officer of the army (in character if a player character) or by the Trade Referee.

Level Two: Lieutenant: They command a ‘Squad’ of 10 men, assisted by a Corporal.
- Military Discount: 30% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 250 Silver Crests per annum, payment should be issued by the commanding officer of the army (in character if a player character) or by the Trade Referee.

Level Three: Captain: They command a ‘Company’ of 10 Squads, assisted by a Sergeant.

- Military Discount: 35% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 500 Silver Crests per annum, payment should be issued by the commanding officer of the army (in character if a player character) or by the Trade Referee.

Level Four: Major: They have command of a ‘Regiment’ of 10 Companies, assisted by a Sergeant Major.
- Military Discount: 40% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 100 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the commanding officer of the army (in character if a player character) or by the Trade Referee.

Level Five: Lieutenant Colonel: They command a ‘Battalion’ of between two to five ‘Regiments’, and will be assisted by a Sergeant Major of his or her choice.
- Military Discount: 50% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 150 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the Trade Referee. They probably control the purse strings of the army, and control how it is distributed to all ranks below them.

Note: Payment to officers is paid with the same sort of regularity as the payment to all military personnel. Officers normally rely on funds from their land holdings to support them through military life, though most officers when they are sent on a mission normally care for a small ‘War Chest’ to fund problems that might arise.

- Wage: 250 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the Trade Referee. They probably control the purse strings of the army, and control how it is distributed to all ranks below them.

Level Two: Major General: A Major General commands a Division, which consists of five Battalions; they can expect to create support staff of their own choosing.
- Military Discount: 75% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 300 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the Trade Referee. They probably control the purse strings of the army, and control how it is distributed to all ranks below them.

Level Three: Lieutenant General: A Lieutenant General commands two to three Divisions; they can expect to create support staff of their own choosing.
- Military Discount: 75% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 350 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the Trade Referee. They probably control the purse strings of the army, and control how it is distributed to all ranks below them.

Level Four: General: A General commands between four to nine Divisions; they can expect to create support staff of their own choosing.
- Military Discount: 75% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 500 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the Trade Referee. They probably control the purse strings of the army, and control how it is distributed to all ranks below them.

Level Five: Field Marshal: The Field Marshal commands a nations or an organisations entire military force and gains all benefits that should be associated with that position.
