Captains command seavessels of various sizes according to their race, with their officers assisting the running of the craft.

*The Experience Points cost for nobles with military rank can be exchanged by up to three quarters of the cost with money (with Gold Crowns), to reflect nobility having an inherent knack for buying their way into military service, rather than earning it.
Level Zero: Midshipman: The new recruit, the lackey, a life of hard work lay ahead of them, usually held by officer’s still not quite full adults in the eyes of higher command. Adults taking this path at this stage may find life unbearable as they are shown the ropes of life upon a ship.
Note: Levels One through to Three receive the same benefits as their Army Counterparts.
Level Four: Commander: The Commander is the right hand man to the Captain they can be a trusted friend or just a reliable officer, or both - destined for command of their own one day.
- Military Discount: 50% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 150 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the Trade Referee.
Level Five: Captain: The Captain commands the ship and the crew with a freedom the main military bodies of Urutau cannot comprehend, it is a rank with prestige and entitlement.
- Military Discount: 50% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 200 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the Trade Referee. They probably control the purse strings of the army, and control how it is distributed to all ranks below them.

Level One: Commodore: A Commodore commands a small fleet of ships (between two to five ships) known as a Flotilla.
- Military Discount: 60% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 250 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the Trade Referee. They probably control the purse strings of the army, and control how it is distributed to all ranks below them.
Level Two: Rear Admiral: A rear Admiral commands a fleet of ships (numbering between six to ten ships, usually of the same class) known as a Squadron.
- Military Discount: 75% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 300 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the Trade Referee. They probably control the purse strings of the army, and control how it is distributed to all ranks below them.
Level Three: Vice Admiral: A Vice Admiral commands a fleet of ships dedicated to the coastal defence of a nation. Alternatively it is a position usually held in honour by a retired Full Admiral.
- Military Discount: 75% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 350 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the Trade Referee. They probably control the purse strings of the army, and control how it is distributed to all ranks below them.
Level Four: Admiral: An Admiral commands a vast fleet of ships used for exploration, or a specified task force that does not cover the coastal defence of the fleet’s home nation.
- Military Discount: 75% on Weapons and Armour from the Home Nation of the Army.
- Wage: 500 Gold Crowns per annum, payment should be issued by the Trade Referee. They probably control the purse strings of the army, and control how it is distributed to all ranks below them.
Level Five: Admiral of the Fleet: More often than not, this rank is granted in times of war or for ceremonial purposes, but it grants full control of a nation’s naval power, or a vast organisational body like the Wrotan Republic, the Alliance of Water or for the Army of the Void.
