- During the Winter period members of the Light Company may count The Ocean's Calm as a home.

- Active members of the Light Company gain access to the 'Light Company Soldier' Skill List.

Captain's Special Rules: The Captain can overturn or reinforce the Special Rules of the Sergeant. They may also eject a Light Company member from the Light Company.

Senior Lieutenant:

Senior Lieutenant's Special Rules: In the absence of the Captain, the Senior Lieutenant can overturn or reinforce the Special Rules of the Sergeant.

Sergeant: Astor the Red

Sergeant's Special Rules: The Sergeant has the power to block a member of the Light Company (with the exception of the Captain) having access to the Special Rules they are assigned with.

Please note that each squad should consist of five individuals, these will either be made up of characters or filled with NPC's, a certain amount of these npc's provide guard duty out of sight of any camp during events or provide other special rules as listed below.

Special Rules: ​Members of this squad gain +1 Hits to All Armoured Locations.

Anyone from the common soldier to a fancy duelist can find a place in this squad.

Special Rules: ​Members of this squad gain one Mundane ‘No Effect’ versus any Forage Tests Once per Day.

Trackers and scouts are those best suited to this squad.

Squad Three: ARCHERS

Special Rules: Archers are trained to work together and be nimble, as such, whilst a member of this group they gain +1 Mundane Dodges per Day.

Any one skilled in the use of bows, crossbows or any other form of ranged combat can be part of this squad.

Squad Four: FIGHTERS: Heavy Unit

Special Rules: Considered the Tank division, Members of this squad gain +1 Hits to All Armoured Locations, they also gain a reduction for improving Base Hits with Cost: (Current Base Hits) x5 Experience Points.

Squad Five: LOGISTICS

Special Rules: Once per Event, a player attached to this unit gets one free Trade Card Item. Members of the Light Company with a specific trade, may request an appropriate Trade Card Item, to be determined by the Trade Referee.

This squad covers everything from 'Acquisitions' to 'Smithing' and 'Arms Maintenance'.

Squad Seven: CRUSADERS

Special Rules: The Prayer of Sanctification takes five minutes less duration to perform by members of the Light Company, when sanctifying the Light Company chapel.

Priests, paladins and clerics, any holy warrior who wants to take the fight to the void. Whether that be by the power of their sword or by preaching the words of our gods.

Squad Eight: MAGIC USERS

Special Rules: Members of the Light Company, whilst in the Light Company Magic Tent, get half duration times for casting Meditation & Insight. In addition, with the NPC members of the Light Company, they may also cast magics at -1 Mana, though must still always pay 1 Mana for a spell when Casting.

Any magic user from a simple hedge witch to a skilled elementalist may sign to this squad.

Squad Nine: ALCHEMISTS

Special Rules: Members of the Light Company, whilst in the Light Company Alchemy Tent, get half brewing times whilst brewing. In addition, with the NPC members of the Light Company, they may also brew +1 additional potions per player within the Light Company who is brewing.

All members of the Light Company may receive:

x1 Potion of Healing (restores +4 Global Hits) per event
or
x1 Potion of Mana (restores +5 points of Mana) per event.

Potioners, poisoners, any kind of brewer can find a place within this team.

Squad Ten: HEALERS

Special Rules: Members of the Light Company, whilst in the Light Company Healer's Tent, get half operating times whilst performing Chirurgery. In addition, with the NPC members of the Light Company, they may also half First Aid attempts, and gain a +1 to their First Aid levels.

First Aiders, Doctors and elemental healers are all welcome in this squad.
